Alan Walter Day

SPRINGFIELD ~ Alan W. Day, 57,  of Springfield, passed away peacefully on Monday, March 25, 2019 with his family at his side. Alan was born on May 15,1961 in Riverside, California. He moved to Springfield as a child. Alan was a roofer by trade and eventually owned his own company. Alan always showed his love to all whom he cared for and was close to. He was a loving son, brother, uncle and grandfather. Alan was predeceased by his mother, Joanne Axiotis and father, Alan C. Day. He leaves behind his daughters; Erica Lambert and her husband Carlos Rodriguez and Samantha Lambert. His siblings, Glen Day, Eric, Daniel, Myrcine and Thomas Fotiathis. His grandchildren Janiesa, Neko, Ayden, Olivia, Evelyn and Julian and a great granddaughter Kaylani. He also leaves several nieces and nephews. There are no calling hours. At Alan's request following cremation, his ashes will be spread in water forever entwined  with his great memories.
