Anna M. Perez 1929-2009 Indian Orchard- Anna M. (Ferrando) Perez, 80, a life long Indian Orchard resident, entered into eternal rest on Monday July 6, 2009 in the East Longmeadow Skilled Nursing Home. She was born in Springfield on February 20, 1929, a daughter of the late Lorenzo and Anna (Donaldson) Ferrando. Besides her parents, Anna was predeceased by her husband, Eulogio F. Perez Sr. Anna is survived by her three children, Eleanor Bates and her husband Stanley of Feeding Hills, Eulogio F. Perez Jr., and his wife Kathleen of Chicopee, and Maryann Beyette and her husband Robert of Indian Orchard; four grandchildren, Stanley Bates Jr., Stacy Fitzpatrick, Elena Perez, and Robert Beyette Jr.; two great-grandchildren, Anthony Bates and Donovan Fitzpatrick; two brothers, Robert Ferrando of Chicopee and Harold Ferrando of Florida; a sister, Beverly Nunes and her husband David of Chicopee; and many nieces and nephews. Anna's family would like to extend a special thank you to the staff at the East Longmeadow Skilled Nursing Home for the compassion and care they gave to Anna. A funeral home service will be held on Friday July 10th at 9 a.m. in the Ratell Funeral Home, 200 Main St., Indian Orchard. Rites of Committal will follow in the Massachusetts Veterans' Memorial Cemetery Chapel, 1390 Main St., Agawam. Anna's family will receive relatives and friends at the visiting hours THIS EVENING, Thursday July 9th from 6-8 p.m. at the funeral home.
