Annette A. Desilets 1920-2010 LUDLOW- Annette A. (Bourbeau) Desilets, 90, of Ludlow entered into eternal rest on Monday, December 20, 2010 in the loving presence of her family at Wing Memorial Hospital, Palmer. Born in Ludlow and a life long resident, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Aurore (Gaudreau) Bourbeau. Annette was a loving wife, aunt and home maker. She was a good natured woman with a heart of gold who was giving of herself to family, friends and neighbors. Annette loved to cook and bake and more importantly shared her talents with many. She just enjoyed trying new recipes and experimenting in the kitchen. She enjoyed square dancing along with its ambiance, music and camaraderie of fellow dancers. Annette was a communicant of St. Elizabeth Parish in St. John the Baptist Church, Ludlow and was a member of the parish Ladies of St. Anne Society. She was predeceased by her husband, Herbert C. Desilets in 1988 and by her brothers, Armand, Leonard, Maurice and Adrian Bourbeau. She leaves her brother, Laurent Bourbeau of Fiskdale; a sister, Yvette Morris of Escondido, CA; her niece and caregiver, Elizabeth T. Foucher and her husband Joseph of Monson and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held from the Ratell Funeral Home, 200 Main St., Indian Orchard on Thursday, December 23, 2010 at 10:15 a.m., followed by the Liturgy of Christian Burial in St. Elizabeth Parish in St. John the Baptist Church, Ludlow, at 11 a.m. Burial will be in St. Aloysius Cemetery, Indian Orchard. The family will receive relatives and friends at a gathering to be held at the Ratell Funeral Home on Thursday morning from 9 to 10:15 a.m.
