Arthur E. Lang

Arthur E. Lang III 1963-2011 SPRINGFIELD- Arthur 'Arty' E. Lang III, 48, of Brimfield and formerly of Indian Orchard, entered into eternal rest on Saturday, July 30, 2011. He was born in Springfield on June 5, 1963. Arty attended Roger L. Putnam Vocational Technical High School and had worked as a Manager at Auto Parts International in Enfield, Ct, and had worked prior for many years as an Auto Parts Specialist/Manager at NAPA Auto Parts, Springfield. He enjoyed RC airplanes, cars and boats. Arty also enjoyed working on antique cars. He is survived by his wife, Denise M. (Cardin) Lang; a daughter, Ashley M. Lang, a step-daughter, Emily Joan Carpenter, all of Brimfield; his father, Arthur E. Lang Jr. and wife Dorothy of Chicopee; his mother, Diane M. Robbins; a sister, Ruth Ann Everett; his father-in-law, Robert J. Cardin, all of Springfield; his mother-in-law, Joan Berard and husband Donald of Monson; and several aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews. Arty's family will receive relatives and friends at the gathering on Saturday, August 6th from 2-4 p.m. at the Ratell Funeral Home, 200 Main St. Indian Orchard. A Celebration of Arty's Life will follow the visitation at the Knights of Columbus #160, 2071 Page Blvd. Indian Orchard.
