Barbara Marie Hebert

Barbara Marie (Willette) Hebert of Indian Orchard passed away after a brief illness at the age of 93 on September 23, 2024. Barbara was a lifelong resident of Indian Orchard, born there January 26, 1931, to her late parents, Robert and Lena (Willette) Clish. Barbara was predeceased by her husband Donald Hebert. She is survived by her daughter Donna M. Plourde and her husband Michel of Indian Orchard, her son William J. Hebert of New Hampshire, her six grandchildren, Jonathan and his fiancée Kathleen Leshinski, Justin, Justina, Tracy, Michelle, and Francine, her 12 great-grandchildren – including the love of her life: Max Donald who affectionately named Barbara “Old Meme,” her three great-great-grandchildren, as well as her cat Mow Mow. Going to the Ludlow Senior Center was always the highlight of Barbara’s day. She enjoyed playing cards and bingo there with her friends. The family would like to acknowledge and thank the nurses and doctors at the Baystate Medical Center Intensive Care Unit for the care they provided to Barbara, and a special thanks to Debbie, Jodi, and Heather at the Ludlow Senior Center for all their help and support. Calling hours will be held Saturday, September 28, 2024, from 10:00-11:00 AM at the Ratell Funeral Home at 200 Main St, Indian Orchard, MA. A Funeral Home Service will begin at 11:00 AM with Rites of Committal at Saint Aloysius to follow. In lieu of flowers, please donate to the Ludlow Senior Center in Barbara’s memory.
