Beatrice M. Goodreau 1913-2009 Beatrice Marie (Bousquet) Goodreau, 96, of Ludlow passed away on Tuesday, September 8, 2009. A life long resident of Ludlow, she was the daughter of the late Napoleon and Melina (Vermette) Bousquet. She was predeceased by her husband of (57) years, Joseph A. Goodreau in 1988 and by hers sons Ronald in 1987 and Richard in 2007. Beatrice had worked for Mars in Ludlow for many years. She had a green thumb, loved her gardening and to travel. She enjoyed walking, loved to sing and could make you laugh with her sense of humor. She showed so much strength in life. She was a proud mother of (15) children who will love and miss her dearly. She leaves behind her wonderful caring and loving son Dennis Goodreau of Ludlow with whom she lived, her sons Wayne Goodreau and wife Cindy of Ludlow; Robert Goodreau of Springfield; her daughters, Arlene Langton and husband Carl, JoAnne Ferenz, Donna Streeter all of Ludlow, Joyce Cockram and husband Delbert of Florida, Janice Dalton and husband Harold of Texas, Judith Davis and husband Philip of Belchertown, Carol Morrissette of West Springfield, Gale Enke and husband Dave of Illinois, Sharon Chisholm and Renee Goodreau both of Chicopee. Beatrice also leaves a daughter-in-law Cossette Goodreau of Ludlow and two special friends of the family Dana Roberts and Suzanne Hotte both of Chicopee. She was a proud grandmother of (38) grandchildren; (61) great grandchildren and (12) great great grandchildren. The family would like to give special thanks to Dr. Mark Radzicki and staff of the Ludlow Board of Health Nursing Department and all her other special care givers. Funeral services will be Saturday, September 12, 2009 from the Ratell Funeral Home 200 Main St., Indian Orchard at 9 a.m. followed by the Liturgy of Christian Burial in St. John the Baptist Church, Ludlow, at 10 a.m. Burial will be in St. Aloysius Cemetery, Indian Orchard.
