Beverly E. Demers

SPRINGFIELD-Beverly E. Demers, 81, of Hawthorn St. in Chicopee and formerly of Palmer, passed away peacefully at her son Duane's home on Thursday, April 9, 2020. Bev was born in Springfield, attending local schools and resided in Springfield most of her life. She was married to Thomas Demers, settling in Springfield to raise their family. She loved quilting, crafting and crocheting. Beverly is survived by her children; Duane Sivard and his wife Melissa of Chicopee, Daryl Sivard and his wife Faye of Missouri, and Cheryl Peters of Chicopee. Her eleven beloved grandchildren; Christopher, Anthony, Matthew, Bettina, Joseph, Michelle, Melissa, Scott, Sarah, Michael and Meagan and eighteen great grandchildren. She was sadly predeceased by her husband, Thomas and three children; Harold, Kevin and Brian Sivard. A private interment will be held at Oak Grove Cemetery in Springfield. There are no calling hours. The family will hold a Memorial service in the future when social restrictions are lifted.
