Beverly Jean Ellard

SPRINGFIELD-Beverly Jean Ellard, 84, of Page Blvd passed away peacefully on Friday, October 18, 2019 at home surrounded by family. She was born in Springfield on July 19, 1935, a daughter of the late Warren and Gertrude (Cooley) Hastings. A lifelong resident of the city, she was educated in local schools. She married Clifford Ellard and they began their family. Beverly enjoyed spending time with her family, especially going out to eat. She cherished her time with her best pal, her daughter Lori, especially when they went to bingo. She was a member of Union Church in Springfield.  Beverly was a retired Station Manager with F.L. Roberts over 20 years before retiring in 2003. Her beloved husband, Clifford Ellard Sr. and a daughter Linda Ellard predeceased her. She leaves her children; Clifford Ellard Jr. of Springfield, Warren Ellard of Texas, Lori LeBlanc of Springfield, Leslie Ruocchio of California and Lisa Champney of Springfield. She also leaves her siblings; Douglas Hastings of Alabama and Roy Hastings of Belchertown, thirteen grandchildren and eleven great grandchildren. Family and friends will gather to remember Beverly on Tuesday, October 29, 2019 from 10 to 12 Noon at Ratell Funeral Home, 200 Main St., Indian Orchard.  There will be a service at the Funeral home at 12 noon followed by burial in Hillcrest Park Cemetery. Donations in Beverly's memory may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105
