Beverly A. Glennie1938-2014SPRINGFIELD- Beverly A. (Stone) Glennie, a lifelong Springfield resident, entered into eternal rest on Sunday, December 28, 2014 at home surrounded by her loving family. She was born in Springfield on October 27, 1938, a daughter of the late John N. and Rita E. (Gamache) Stone. Beverly was a member of the Pine Point Golden Ager's, a communicant of Our Lady of the Sacred Heart Church, both in Springfield, and loved to play Bingo. She was predeceased by her husband, Dale W. Glennie Sr.; two sisters, Elaine Szabo and Shirley Lavalley; and a sister-in-law, Marguerite Stone. Beverly is survived to cherish her memory by a son, Dale W. Glennie Jr. and his wife Sandra of Palmer; four daughters, Christine M. Glennie and her fiancé Edward Smith of Palmer, Elaine M. Letendre and her fiancé Donald LaRock of West Springfield, Debra M. Arroyo and her husband Manuel of Springfield, and Brenda M. Glennie and her partner Linda Rodrigues of Bolingbrook, IL; 11 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; two brothers, Charles Bedard and his wife Delores and John Stone, all of Springfield; a sister, Diane Lowe of Springfield; and many cousins, nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, January 3rd beginning at 8:45 a.m. from the Ratell Funeral Home, 200 Main St. Indian Orchard, with a Liturgy of Christian Burial to be celebrated at 10 a.m. in Our Lady of the Sacred Heart Church, 417 Boston Rd. with Rites of Committal to follow in Gate of Heaven Cemetery, 421 Tinkham Rd., both in Springfield. Beverly's family will receive relatives and friends at the visitation on Friday, January 2nd from 3-7 p.m. at the funeral home.
