Jekot1947-2014SPRINGFIELD- Beverly "Bev" Jekot (Walsh), 66, of Springfield, died peacefully at home on March 10, 2014.  Born November 25, 1947 to Bertha and Francis Walsh in Somerville, MA, she lived the majority of her life in Springfield and will be deeply missed by her family and friends in the surrounding area.  She will be fondly remembered as a fierce and passionate woman who cherished her role as wife, mother, Nana, and friend to her small family above all.  She also enjoyed shopping, crafting, and spending time with her grandchildren.  Along with her loving husband of 47 years, Henry Jekot, left to cherish her memory are her sons, Kenneth Jekot of Springfield; Kevin Jekot and his wife Lisa Jekot of Springfield; a daughter, Kelly Bartley and her husband Kevin Bartley of Enfield, CT; and 5 grandchildren, Kylie and Hailey Jekot; Chloe, Zoe, and Max Bartley.  All services will be private.
