Billy "Bigg Bill" L. Lafrancis

Billy L. "Bigg Bill" LaFrancis, 43, of Knox St., in Palmer passed away unexpectedly at his home on Saturday, June 24, 2017. Bill was born in Springfield, Mass. on May 22, 1974, the son of the late Henry Record Sr., and Donna (Marsh) Record. He was raised and educated in Springfield and attended local schools. Bill loved spending time with his family and especially enjoyed the outdoors. Fishing was a passion of his and he loved the simple beauty in it. He is survived by his wife; Carrie (Germain) LaFrancis. His loving children; Daniele, Morgan, Shyann, Jeremy, Anthony and Krayvin and his stepchildren; Heaven, Harmony and Trinitey. His devoted  siblings; Edward LaFrancis Jr., Henry Record Sr., Ed LaFrancis, Windy Record and Kelly LaFrancis and many nieces and nephews and extended members of the LaFrancis and Record families. Bill also leaves his father; Edward LaFrancis Sr. and his wife Shirley. In addition to his parents, he was sadly predeceased by his sister, Candy LaFrancis. Bigg Bill will always be remembered as a loving and caring husband, father, son, brother and friend to all who knew him. The family invites you to join them on Saturday morning, July 1, 2017 from 9-11 a.m.  at the Ratell Funeral Home, 200 Main St., Indian orchard for a Celebration of Bill's life followed by a funeral home service at 11 a.m. At Bills request, he will be cremated and the family will scatter the ashes in his favorite places so they will always have those happy memories in his and their lives.
