Carmella M. Connor Curtiss

Carmella M. Connor Curtiss 1925-2008   Carmella M. (Campana) Connor Curtiss, 83, of Indian Orchard, passed away on Tuesday, December 2, 2008 in Baystate Medical Center.  Born in Springfield and a life long resident, she was the daughter of the late Angelo and Rose Campana. Carmella was a graduate of Springfield's High School of Commerce.  She was a bookkeeper for many years for the former Forbes & Wallace of Springfield and was a communicant of St. Jude's Church of Indian Orchard.  She was predeceased by her first husband, Christopher J. Connor and by her second husband Walter Curtiss.  Carmella leaves her sons; Ronald E. Connor and his wife Jacqueline of Beverly; Christopher J. Connor, Jr., and his wife Susan of Wilbraham; grandchildren, Emily Connor, Zachary Connor, Christopher John Connor, III, Katie Ann Connor and Luke Connor; step grandchildren; Roger Lavoie, Lacy Gerrmann and Trishia Saluk; a great grandchild; Kayleigh Ashling Connor and step great grandchildren; Christian, Alexis, Eva, Austin, Todd, Jr., Autumn, Taylor and Justice.  Funeral services will be held on Monday, December 8, 2008 from the Ratell Funeral Home 200 Main St., Indian Orchard at 9 a.m., followed by the Liturgy of Christian Burial in St. Jude Church at 10 a.m.  Burial will be in St. Michael's Cemetery, Springfield.  Calling hours are on Sunday, December 7, 2008 from 2 to 5 p.m. For Guest Book & Directions www.ratellfuneralhome.com Ratell Funeral Home (413) 543-3836
