Charlene St. John

Charlene Marie St. John, 68, of Ludlow passed away on Saturday morning after a brief illness at Bear Mountain Healthcare. Charlene was born in Ludlow, and was a lifelong resident, attending local schools and graduated from Ludlow High School. Charlene worked for Meadow Farms in Agawam for many years before retiring. She loved spending time with family and friends, especially holiday gatherings. A devoted catholic, Charlene was a communicant of the Catholic community of the Diocese of Western Massachusetts. Her beloved parents; David and Leona (Sorrell) St. John predeceased her as well as siblings; brother, Donald and Kenneth St. John, and sisters, Barbara Nevue and Diane St. John. and her brother in law, John McGrady Jr. She leaves her dear siblings; Shirley St. John and Cynthia St. John with whom she lived and Joan McGrady, all of Ludlow. Her dear sisters in law; Nancy St. John of CT. and Donna St. John of Indian Orchard as well as many nieces and nephews. Charlene was a lover of all animals, having rescued and fostered many four legged friends over the years, her kind heart gave many animals a wonderful second chance. THE FAMILY WILL RECEIVE FRIENDS AT RATELL FUNERAL HOME, 200 MAIN ST., INDIAN ORCHARD ON WEDNESDAY, DEC. 15, 2021 FROM 9:00 to 11:00 A.M. WITH A SERVICE AT THE FUNERAL HOME AT 11:00 A.M. Burial of her ashes will follow in Island Pond Cemetery, Ludlow. Donations in her memory may be made to the Second Chance Animal Adoption Center, 111 Young Rd, East Brookfield, MA 01515.
