Charlotte M. Harrington1937-2014Chicopee- Charlotte M. (Wood) Harrington, 76, of Chicopee passed away Tuesday, May 20, 2014 at Mercy Medical Center. Born in Hartland, VT on June 9, 1937 she was a daughter of the late George and Flossie (Wentworth) Wood. Charlotte worked as a machine operator for over 30 years for Milton Bradley from which she retired.  She enjoyed making and dressing dolls, playing bingo, and had a love for animals. Charlotte was a very strong woman and influenced a lot of people in her life. She was predeceased by her husband John "Jack" R. Harrington, Sr. in 2009, her son John R. Harrington, Jr. in 2011, her sister Dorothy Spencer and brother Burt Wood. Charlotte leaves her son Bobby McFetridge and his wife Nita of ME; four grandchildren, Amanda, Brandie and Mikayla McFetridge of ME and Larry Fish of Southwick; two nieces, Linda Bushy of Springfield and Judy Brundle of TX; and her "two boys" Geno Seguin and Tom Maynard. She took great care of her family and will be missed by all that loved her. A small graveside service will be held at a later date.
