Claudette Mathisen

INDIAN ORCHARD - Claudette Mathisen, 74, of Indian Orchard, passed away Monday, January 18, 2016 at Baystate Medical Center.  Born in Ludlow on January 25, 1941, she was the daughter of Lawrence and Loretta (Morin) Adams.  Claudette worked for many years at Mayfair Mills and retired from Waldman Publishing.  She loved the Orchard Variety where she played Keno and Scratch Tickets, she was a devoted Red Sox fan.  Claudette leaves Larry her loving husband of 32 years, and her sister Shirley Adams.  She also leaves her children, Diane & John Goodrich of Monson, Debbie Plourde of So. Hadley, Leo & Trisha Plourde of Ludlow, Donna & Wayne LaPierre of Southampton, Larry & Annette Plourde of East Longmeadow, Scott & Lisa Plourde of Florida. And her step-children; Peter & Kim Mathisen of Wilbraham, James & Becky Mathisen of Ludlow, Kerri & Thom Niemeic of Chicopee.  10 Grandchildren and 5 Great Grandchildren. Family and friends are invited to calling hours on Thursday, Jan 21st 4pm-7pm at the Ratell Funeral Home, 200 Main St, Indian Orchard.  Burial will be held at a later date.  In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Shriners Hospital for Children, Donations Dept., 516 Carew St., Springfield, MA 01104.
