Claudia A. Moquin

Claudia A. Moquin 1941-2012 SPRINGFIELD- Claudia "Chic" A. Moquin, 70, long time Springfield resident, entered into eternal rest on Sunday, January 29, 2012 at home. She was born in Ludlow on September 7, 1941, a daughter of the late Raymond and Cecelia (Daniels) Flebotte. Claudia graduated from Ludlow High School and was a communicant of St. Jude Church, Indian Orchard. She loved her horses and enjoyed gardening. Claudia was a loving grandmother and loved spending time with her grandchildren. She is survived by her loving and devoted husband of 53 years, Richard A. Moquin, two sons, Richard F. Moquin of Cape Cod, MA and Ray K. Moquin of Springfield; four cherished grandchildren, Brian, Danielle, Richard, and Gregory; and many nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, February 2nd beginning at 9 a.m. from the Ratell Funeral Home, 200 Main St., Indian Orchard, with a Liturgy of Christian Burial to be celebrated at 10 a.m. in Our Lady of the Sacred Heart Church, 417 Boston Rd., Springfield. Rites of Committal and burial will follow in St. Aloysius Cemetery, 1273 Berkshire Ave., Indian Orchard. Claudia' family will receive friends at the visitation on Wednesday, February 1st (THIS EVENING) from 4-7 p.m. at the funeral home.
