Darlene J. Morin

Darlene J. Morin 1954-2013 PALMER- Darlene "Doll" J. (McNamara) Morin, 58, passed away peacefully on Saturday, May 25, 2013 in Wing Memorial Hospital, Palmer.  She was born in Springfield on October 31, 1954, the daughter of Marion (Warner) McNamara and the late George McNamara. She was a self-employed landscape and floral designer.  A huge lover of flowers, Darlene often spent hours outside in her gardens and had an uncanny ability to bring any plant back to life. Darlene's witty sense of humor often left her family and friends in tears for hours from laughing so hard.  She graduated from the former Classical High School, Springfield.  Darlene is survived by her mother, Marion (Warner) McNamara; four loving and devoted daughters, Jody L. Eugenio and her husband Armando of Springfield, Serena M. Morin of Palmer, Crystal L. Morin of Wilbraham, and Angela R. Morin of Chicopee; her beloved companion, Dennis Brooksbank of Chicopee; nine cherished grandchildren, Jason, Audralee, Davon, Mckenzie, Brady, Paige, Tyler, Jayson, and Jordan; two brothers, Michael G. McNamara of Florida and Wesley J. McNamara of East Longmeadow; her close friends, Kay and Nancy; Four nieces; and many other close friends. A funeral home service will be held on Thursday, May 30th at 7 p.m. at the Ratell Funeral home, 200 Main St. Indian Orchard. Darlene's family will receive relatives and friends at the gathering prior to the service from 4-7 p.m. at the funeral home.
