Dawn M. Coppola

Dawn Marie (Goodwin) Coppola, 53, of the Indian Orchard section of Springfield was called Safely Home on Sunday August 21, 2016. She passed into Eternal Rest at Baystate Medical Center with her family by her side. Dawn was a special and loving person; to know her was to love her. She was active member of the US Air Force Reserve stationed at Westover.  She was born on August 24, 1962 in Springfield to the late George and Margaret Goodwin (Rattelle). Dawn was educated in the Springfield School system.  She worked for Mass Mutual in their legal department as a paralegal. She had a passion for reading, being at the beach and having a good conversation over a cup of coffee with friends and family. Dawn will be dearly missed by all that knew her. She leaves us to cherish many great memories of her. She leaves her two children, a son, Timothy Langford and a daughter, Brittany Woods; her loving life partner, Ronald Robinson; a brother Mark Goodwin and his wife Debbie; a sister, Debra Pappas and her husband James; two grandchildren who she adored, Anthony Baez and Cataleya Calderone; and her ex-husband, Allen Langford. She was predeceased by her parents and her husband Tony Coppola.  Family and friends are invited to pay tribute to Dawn on Wednesday August 31, 2016 at The Ratell Funeral home, 200 Main Street, Indian Orchard from 4-7 PM. A prayer service will follow at 7 pm in the funeral home. Burial will be held at a later day and will be private at the request of the family. In lieu of flowers donations in Dawn's memory may be made to the Shiners Children Hospital ,516 Carew Street ,Springfield, MA 01104.
