Springfield - A loving, caring, nurturing mother and God-fearing woman. Debra Jean (Longey) Dupuis, 68, a lifelong resident of Springfield, Massachusetts gained her wings on March 3, 2025. She was born on November 9, 1956, to the late Richard Longey and Joan (Devall) Demers. Debby attended and graduated from West Springfield Public Schools.
She worked for Springfield Partners as a Kitchen Coordinator and retired in 2023. Sister Debby was a member of the Greater New Life Christian Center, where she served as secretary of the Missionary Board and volunteered on the hospitality team. She was also a member of the Indian Orchard Senior Center Bingo club and a member and ambassador of Get Movin’ Fitness. In her free time, Debby found joy in a variety of activities that enriched her life and brought happiness to those around her. Over the years, Debby volunteered as a girl scout leader and Sunday school teacher. She had a passion for arts and crafts, enjoyed jigsaw puzzles, and took pride in her sewing projects. Debby was a life-long fan of the Yankees and Harley Davidson motorcycles. She loved staying active through Zumba fitness, traveling to the beach, and spending quality time with her family and friends. These cherished hobbies were a reflection of her vibrant spirit and her love for life, leaving behind countless memories with those who were fortunate enough to know her.
Predeceased by her parents and son Jeffery Dupuis. She is survived by her lifelong partner Ronnie Germaine, her daughter April McClure & her husband Frank; two sons Alexander and Justin; sister Kim Champiney; brother Steve Longey; niece Kristen; and five grandchildren: Hayley, Bren, Peyton, Caedus and Autumn.
Funeral services will be held on March 15, 2025, at Greater New Life Christian Center, 1323 Worcester St, Indian Orchard, MA 01151 A visitation will be held from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM, followed by a service to celebrate Debra's life. A gathering will take place immediately after the service. to continue sharing memories and honoring Debra's legacy. Ratell Funeral Home has been entrusted with the arrangements.
