Denise M. Tavernier1954-2013SPRINGFIELD- Denise M. (Troie) Tavernier, 59, a lifelong Springfield resident, entered into eternal rest on Friday, April 26, 2013. She was born in Springfield on January 10, 1954, a daughter of the late Antonio E. and Theresa C. (Lamoureaux) Troie. Denise enjoyed Hampton Beach, but received the most enjoyment when she was spending time with her family. Besides her parents, she was predeceased by three brothers, Ronald A., David P., and Raymond P. Troie. Denise is survived by her loving and devoted husband of 37 years, Francis E. Tavernier Jr.; two sons, Tony E. Troie and his wife Melissa of Ludlow, and Joseph P. Tavernier and his wife Lisa of Chicopee; four cherished grandchildren, Audrey and Benjamin Troie, Carina Berard, and Mark Tavernier; a brother, Ernest J. Troie of Springfield; two sisters, Jacqueline E. Stanek and her husband Bob of Springfield, and Michele T. Eldridge-Lamoureaux of Hampden; and many nieces, nephews and close friends. She will always have her special seat at Friendly's. Denise's family will receive relatives and friends at the gathering on Wednesday, May 1st from 4-8 p.m. at the Ratell Funeral Home, 200 Main St., Indian Orchard.
