Dennis S. Robare Sr.

Dennis S. Robare Sr., 76 of Springfield passed away peacefully on Wednesday, Feb. 9, 2022 at Mercy Hospital. Dennis was born on May 19, 1945. He grew up in Holyoke and attended Catholic school there. Dennis was a Shopkeeper with Avery Dennison Manufacturing over 35 years before retiring. He was married to the former Linda Narreau, and they had lived in Springfield since 1982. He enjoyed playing Bingo, fishing with family and friends, and especially deep sea fishing. Dennis was an avid bowler and played in many Leagues in the area including the Candlepin leagues in Holyoke. His most enjoyable time were spent with his family especially his beloved grandchildren. His wife, Linda (Narreau) Robare predeceased him along with several siblings: George, Richard, Floyd and Milton Robare, Eileen Peloquin and Henrietta Lyons. He leaves his sons; Dennis Robare Jr. and his wife Laurie and Brian Robare and his partner, Carmen all of Springfield. His brother, Rodney Robare. His grandchildren; Ashley, Stephanie, Melanie, Alexander, Alexandra, Michael and Mercedes and great grandchildren; Liam, Cole, Elena, Rayne, Christopher and Charlotte, Dashua Jr., Ichabod and Declan. THE FAMILY WILL RECEIVE FRIENDS ON THURSDAY, FEB. 17, 2022 FROM 4:00 TO 6:00 P.M. AT RATELL FUNERAL & CREMATION CENTER, 200 MAIN ST., SPFLD, MA.. THERE WILL BE A SERVICE OF REMEMBRANCE AT THE FUNERAL HOME AT 5:45 A.M. Interment will be private.
