She was born in Springfield on December 15, 1960, the daughter of Jan and Natalia (Rosiak) Mis. Besides her parents, Diane is survived by her husband, Steven R. Porterfield of Springfield; a son, John M. Porterfield of Indian Orchard; a daughter, Stephanie Porterfield of Springfield; four grandchildren, Crystal, Serena, Noah, and Joshua; and two brother, Fred Mis of Indian Orchard, and Chris Mis of Springfield.
