Donna Lea Record 1952 - 2012 Springfield - Donna Lea (Marsh) Record, 59, of Three Rivers, died Tuesday, February 28, 2012 in Wingate at Wilbraham. Born on November 9, 1952, she was the daughter of the late Edward F. and Helen F. (Caffrey) Marsh, Jr. and lived in Springfield almost all of her life until moving to Palmer last year.  Donna was part owner of the Chapin East Variety Store in Ludlow for several years.  She was a cat lover and also enjoyed playing bingo. Her husband Henry T. Record, Sr. died in 1999.  Donna leaves three sons Edward T. Lafrancis Jr. of Indian Orchard, Henry E. Record of East Longmeadow and Billy L. Lafrancis of Palmer, two daughters Windy Record of Ludlow and Kelly A. Drost of Springfield, six brothers Richard E. Marsh Sr. of Chester, Stuart L Murdock of Largo, FL., Rodney Murdock Jr. of Springfield, Jeffrey J. Murdock of North Adams, and Eric and Mark Marsh both of Colorado, three sisters Blythe Anne Sherman  and Laura L. Sternowski  both of Springfield and Dianna J. Gagnon of West Springfield, her stepfather Rodney Murdock of Whitesborough, NY  and 11 grandchildren.  She was predeceased by her daughter Candy L. Lafrancis in 1972 and her brother James Murdock. A Funeral Service will be held on Monday, March 5, 2012 at 11am at the Ratell Funeral Home 200 Main Street, Indian Orchard, followed by a committal service in St. Aloysius Cemetery.  Visiting hours are Sunday 4-7pm.  The family wishes to extend a special thank you to the staff of Wingate at Wilbraham.
