Dora Picard 1920-2010 INDIAN ORCHARD - Dora Picard, 89, of Indian Orchard, entered into eternal rest on Sunday, April 18, 2010.  Born in Springfield and a life long resident of the Indian Orchard section, Dora was the daughter of the late Dalvina and Julia (Ouimette) Picard.  Dora was employed by the former American Bosch.  She was a machinist, retiring in 1985 after 44 years of service.  Dora's main priority was her family whom she loved dearly and she adored her canine companion Muffin.  Dora embraced her faith throughout her life and was a faithful communicant of St. Jude Mission Church in Indian Orchard. Dora was predeceased by her siblings, Elmer, David and Arthur Picard and Irene Bruso, Dorothy Narreau and Florence Antico-Doda.  She leaves her brother, Lawrence Picard of Indian Orchard and many nieces and nephews.  Funeral services will be held on Friday morning, April 23, 2010 from the Ratell Funeral Home 200 Main St., Indian Orchard at 9 a.m., followed by the Liturgy of Christian Burial in St. Jude Mission Church at 10 a.m.  Burial will be in St. Aloysius Cemetery, Indian Orchard.  Calling hours will be held at the Ratell Funeral Home on Thursday, April 22, 2010 from 4 to 7 p.m.  Memorial contributions in Dora's memory may be made to a charity of one's choice.
