Eleanor V. Dorsett1929-2013HAMPDEN- Eleanor V. (Parker) Dorsett, 83, entered into eternal rest on Tuesday, January 15, 2013. She was born in Palmer on December 24, 1929, a daughter of the late Frederick and Ella (Merriam) Parker. Eleanor retired from Monarch Life Insurance Company and Massachusetts Mutual Life Insurance Company, both in Springfield. She was a member of the Church in the Acres Baptist Church. Eleanor is survived by her three daughters, Margaret A. Paine and her husband Charles of Indian Orchard, Lorraine J. Palmeira and her husband Tony of Stoughton, MA, and Nancy J. Thibodeau and her husband Earl of Springfield; eight grandchildren; and 17 great-grandchildren. A funeral home service will be held on Tuesday, January 22nd at 11 a.m. in the Ratell Funeral Home, 200 Main St., Indian Orchard with burial to follow in Hillcrest Park Cemetery, 985 Parker St., Springfield.
