Evelyn A. Ricardi1948-2015Springfield- Evelyn A. Ricardi, 67, of Springfield, passed away Friday, December 18, 2015 at Wingate at South Hadley. Born in Springfield on November 22, 1948, she was a daughter of the late Gordon Schebel and Doris (Burt) Schebel. Evelyn leaves her loving husband of 47 years, Raymond F. Ricardi; her daughter Jennifer Shumsky and her husband Bob of Chicopee; her three grandchildren whom she loved and adored, Samuel, Jakob, and Kyla Shumsky; and many close friends. Evelyn's family would like to send a special thanks to everyone at Wingate at South Hadley, Baystate Health, and Baystate Hospice for all of your kindness and care, as well as Denise Lajeunesse for your spiritual guidance and service to Evelyn over the years. A calling hour will be held on Tuesday, December 22, 2015 from 9-10am with a funeral home service at 10am at Ratell Funeral Home, 200 Main St, Indian Orchard. Burial will follow in St. Aloysius Cemetery, 1273 Berkshire Ave, Indian Orchard.
