Everett E Rooney

Everett E. Rooney 1928 - 2009  Ludlow - Everett E. Rooney, 81, a lifelong Ludlow resident, died at home on Thursday, November 5.  He was born on April 30, 1928, the son of the late Michael J. and Valeria E. (Mayou) Rooney.  He attended local schools and retired after forty years of service from the Ludlow Highway Department.  He is survived by his sister, Claire T. Rooney, of Ludlow.  He was predeceased by his sister, Jeannette C. Rooney on October 30, 2001.  Funeral services are on Monday, November 9 at 9am from the Ratell Funeral Home, 200 Main St. in Indian Orchard, followed by a Liturgy of Christian Burial at 10am at St. Mary of the Assumption Church, 485 East St., Ludlow.   Burial will follow in St. Michael's Cemetery in Springfield.  Calling hours at the funeral home are on Sunday, November 8 from 2 - 4pm.
