Florence L. Landry

Florence L. Landry 1916-2010 INDIAN ORCHARD - Florence L. (Henault) Landry, 94, of Indian Orchard entered into eternal rest on Saturday, August 28, 2010 in the loving presence of her family.  Born in Ludlow and a life long resident of the Indian Orchard section of Springfield, she was the daughter of the late Felix and Albina (Dutilly) Henault.  She was a retired supervisor for the Servus Rubber Co and was a communicant of St. Jude Church of Indian Orchard.  Florence also enjoyed playing bingo.  She was predeceased by her husband, Armand M. Landry in 1967.  She leaves two sons, Robert Landry and his wife Karin of Williamstown, Richard Landry of Indian Orchard; a daughter, Joan Sunter and her husband Tom of Ludlow; (11) grandchildren and (13) great grandchildren.  A calling hour will be held at the Ratell Funeral Home on Tuesday, August 31, 2010 from 8:30 to 9:30 a.m.  A Liturgy of Christian Burial will follow in St. Jude's Church 221 Main St., Indian Orchard at 10 a.m.  Burial will be in St. Aloysius Cemetery, Indian Orchard.  In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Mercy Hospice 1236 Main St., Holyoke, MA  01040.
