Guy R. Boissonneault

Guy R. Boissonneault, 59, of Bexhill Street in Springfield passed away unexpectedly at his home on Sunday morning. Guy and his beloved wife, Pam, had celebrated their wedding anniversary on Saturday evening, enjoying their time with just each other as a loving couple of 32 years. Guy was born in Canada to the late Julian and Pauline (Moreau) Boissonneault. He moved to the USA at a young age and attended local schools. Guy worked for Rock Ten for the past 21 years as an equipment operator. He had previously worked for Dielectrics in Chicopee and HP Hood in Suffield, CT. Guy loved to work, from the time he woke up in the morning till the time he laid his head on his pillow, he was always going, helping family and friends with whatever they needed. Guy enjoyed building anything you might need and loved to install sheetrock for anyone that asked. Guy loved the beach and spending time with family and friends.  He enjoyed cooking on the grill, especially for family gatherings. He was predeceased by his parents, Julian and Pauline and a dear sister, Sylvia.  He leaves his beloved wife, Pamela (Smith) Boissonneault. His cherished children; William Joseph Boissonneault and Heather Ann Boissonneault both of Springfield. His devoted siblings; Rick Boissonneault and his wife Kim of Windsor, CT. and Diane Rollins and her husband Rob of Hampden. His wife's family; Garland L. Smith, Linda D. Keller and Stephanie L. Owens all of Springfield as well as many nieces and nephews of the Boissonneault and Smith families.



The family will receive friends for calling hours on Friday, July 1, 2021 from 9:00 to 11:00 a.m. at Ratell Funeral Home, 200 Main St., Indian Orchard followed by a religious Service at 11:00 A.M. with Fr. Michael Twohig, Celebrant. Burial will follow in Hillcrest Park Cemetery, Springfield. Donations in Guy's memory may be made to the charity of one's choice.
