James H. Donnelly

James H. Donnelly 1943-2013 SPRINGFIELD- James "Ducky" H. Donnelly, 69, a lifelong Springfield resident, entered into eternal rest on Wednesday, March 6, 2013 at home. He was born in Springfield on December 5, 1943, a son of the late James H. and Frances (Dunn) Donnelly. James graduated from the High School of Commerce and retired from Mass Mutual Life Insurance Company as a Computer Analyst. He was a communicant of Our Lady of the Sacred Heart Church. James is survived by his wife of 48 years, Sandra J. (Nadeau) Donnelly; three sons, James H. Donnelly and his wife Carolyn of Chicopee, Shawn M. Donnelly-Rodriguez and husband Robert of Holyoke, and Joseph A. Donnelly and his wife Lillian Planadeball of Springfield; six grandchildren, Ivan, Christopher, Deliana, Caitlin, Warner, and Armony; a sister, Candy T. Fagone and her husband Martin of East Longmeadow; and several nieces and nephews. Besides his parents, James was predeceased by a brother, Joseph F. Donnelly. A funeral home service will be held on Tuesday, March 12th at 4 p.m. in the Ratell Funeral Home, 200 Main St., Indian Orchard. James' family will receive friends at the gathering prior to the service on Tuesday from 2-4 p.m. at the funeral home.
