James Elmer Riddles

James E. Riddles 1947-2008   James Elmer Riddles, 60, of Springfield, passed away on Thursday, June 19, 2008 in Baystate Medical Center.  Born in Berkeley, CA and a long time resident of Springfield, he was the son of Phyllis (Hildebrand) Marvin and the late Lloyd Riddles.  James had been an auto mechanic for most of his life and was an Army veteran of the Vietnam War.  He is survived by his wife of (31) years, Donna Lee (LaFountain) Riddles, his mother, Phyllis (Hildebrand) Marvin of Brentwood, CA; his children, Todd Rivers and wife Kyla, of Springfield; Shane Riddles and wife Jennifer, of West Springfield, Kelly O'Malley and husband, Patrick of Chicopee; his siblings, Jeanne, Jon, Janet and Jack all of California and (10) grandchildren. James was also predeceased by his sister Joan. A Memorial Service will be held on Monday, June 23, 2008 at 7 p.m. in the Ratell Funeral Home 200 Main St., Indian Orchard.
