Janice Theresa Weeks-Davis

Janice Theresa Weeks-Davis, 79, of Springfield passed away on Saturday, November 25, 2023.Janice was born in Springfield, October 11, 1944, to Russell O. and Louise K. Wood-Weeks. She lived in Springfield until moving to Belchertown in 1956. She made her home with her husband in the Indian Orchard section of Springfield. She graduated from Belchertown High School on June 14, 1962. She then attended both Holyoke Community College and MCDI of Springfield, getting her name in the book of Who’s Who. Janice worked for Mass Mutual Insurance Company, working her way up to an Underwriters Position. She loved her birds, dogs, bowling and collecting glass baskets for years. She also loved spending vacations in York Beach Maine with her husband, parents, and nephew Russ for many years. Jan leaves her husband of 34 years, Robert M. Davis Jr., her sister Beverly J. Lemon of Monson and her nephew Russell W. Lemon of Ludlow, her brother-in-law Joseph and his wife Karen of Feeding Hills, a niece Caitlyn, a nephew Michael, and his wife Rachel, and one great nephew, Quinn. At Janice’s request there are no calling hours, and all services will be private. Donations in Jan’s memory, can be made to the Arthritis Foundation.
