Jean L. Harrington

Jean L. Harrington 1937-2008    Jean L. (Paramore) Harrington, 71, of Indian Orchard, passed away on Friday, July 11, 2008 in Baystate Medical Center.  Born in Washington, North Carolina, and a resident of Indian Orchard for (55) years, she was the daughter of the late Leslie and Emma (Brian) Paramore.  Jean was a waitress for many years.  She had worked for Frank's Diner in Ludlow for several years and also at the Chapin East Variety Store of Ludlow.  She was also involved in youth hockey with her sons having been associated with the Sixteen Acres Hockey Association and the former Polish American Veterans Hockey Association.  She leaves behind her three sons, Keith A. Harrington and his wife, Andrea of Indian Orchard; Brian D. Harrington of Indian Orchard; Steven G. Harrington of West Springfield; her two brothers, Ray Paramore of Virginia Beach, VA; Carl Paramore of Chocowinity, NC; ten grandchildren; one great grandchild; her nephew Kevin Rogers of Washington, NC; and family friend Ronnie Boyd of Chocowinity, NC.  She was predeceased by her brother, James Paramore and sister Bernice Rogers.  A Service of Remembrance will be held on Monday, July 14, 2008 in the Ratell Funeral Home 200 Main St., Indian Orchard at 8 p.m.  Calling hours will be held on Monday from 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 p.m. until the time of service. Burial will be private and at the convenience of the family.
