Jeanne M Karwoski

Jeanne M. Karwoski 1926-2013 HOLYOKE- Jeanne M. (Besse) Karwoski, 87, passed away at Holyoke Medical Center on October 20, 2013.  She was born in Springfield on July 4, 1926, a daughter of the late George and Delvina (La Flamme) Besse. Jeanne graduated from the High School of Commerce, and retired from Monarch Life Insurance Company and had worked previously for Standard Electric Time.  She enjoyed Sunday Bingo, poker games with her cousins, ballroom dancing, and the occasional scratch ticket.  Jeanne was predeceased by her first husband, Norman Waldron; her second husband, Frank Karwoski; her son Robert Waldron; her sister, Lorraine Ryczek; and her brother, George Besse.  She is survived by her son, Tom Waldron; four grandchildren, Darcy Waldron, Thomas Waldron Jr., Alyssa Mills, and Christine Karwoski; one great grandchild, Makaylee Waldron;  a "daughter"-in-law, Cheryl Baron Marrewa; and several cousins, nieces, and nephews. At the request of Jeanne's family, services will be private. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Jeanne's memory to American Diabetes Association P.O.
