Jeanne E. LaFleur of Springfield, age 76, passed peacefully on June 30, 2026, while having her mid-afternoon nap. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and sister. Jeanne loved her animals: her many dogs over the years, her birds, squirrels, and any animal she met. Jeanne was an excellent artist. She drew many small sketches and made wooden dolls. She loved her garden and her pond. She spent many weekends with her grandchildren, whom she loved dearly. She was a great mother to her daughter Monique and son Peter Jr. Her late husband Peter Sr. was the true love of her life. They had a great bond and did many things together on the weekends, from dog events to road trips. She leaves behind her daughter Monique LaFleur of Springfield, MA, her son Peter Jr. of Springfield, MA, her three grandkids, Mark Lapierre Jr., Auriana Lapierre, and Natalya Pafumi of Springfield, her sisters Elaine Dardzienski of Springfield, Cecile Silski of Ludlow and her brother Denis Ledoux plus many nieces and nephews. A graveside service will be held on July 7, 2026, at 10:00 AM at Hillcrest Park at 895 Parker Street, Springfield.
