Jennifer Lynn Doty

Jennifer Lynn Doty of Springfield, MA, age 42, passed away at Mercy Medical Center on June 17, 2024, after a long battle with cancer. Born in Springfield on June 8, 1982, Jen was a daughter of George and Cheryl (Lagacy) Doty. She loved her family, her father more than anything. Jen was taken too soon, but per doctor’s orders, she made the most out of life while she could. She was a sports fan, and her time of passing aligned perfectly with the Celtics winning the NBA championship. Jen enjoyed watching and placing bets on UFC with her brother Joshua. The dynamic between Jen and her cousin Theresa earned them the loving nicknames Ethel and Lucy.
Jen leaves behind her parents George and Cheryl, her brother Joshua Doty, her cousins Tiffany and Theresa (Lucy) and many more cousins, aunts, and uncles. A special thanks goes out to her Godparents, Aunty Nellie and Uncle John Doty for all their love and support. Visiting hours will be held Friday, June 21 from 4:00 to 8:00 PM at the Ratell Funeral Home located at 200 Main Street, Indian Orchard, MA 01151. Inurnment and Rite of Committal will be held on Saturday, June 22, 2024, at 1:00 PM at St. Mary Cemetery at 31 Scantic Road, Hampden, MA 01036.
