Joan C. Mominee

Joan C. Mominee 1933-2009   Joan C. (Kielbania) Mominee, 76, of Springfield, passed away on Saturday, Oct. 17, 2009. Born in Ludlow and a Springfield resident for most of her life she was the daughter of the late Stanley and Bella (Talbot) Kielbania.  Jane was formerly employed at Smith & Wesson.  She had also worked for Joel Tool Co. of Springfield and Russell Industries of East Longmeadow.  She was a communicant of St. Mary's Church in East Springfield. Joan was predeceased by her husband, Leo A. Mominee in 1992.  She leaves her sister, Marie Burek and her husband Fred of Springfield; her nephew and godson David Roulston and his wife Jane of Ludlow; several grand nieces and nephews and her dear friend, Willard E. Campbell of Springfield. Funeral services will be on Wednesday, Oct. 21, 2009 from the Ratell Funeral Home, Indian Orchard at 10:15 a.m., followed by the Liturgy of Christian Burial in St. Mary's Church at 11 a.m.  Burial will be in St. Aloysius Cemetery, Indian Orchard.
