Joseph Zeleznok, 92, of Ludlow passed away peacefully at his home surrounded by his loving family. Joe was born in Garfield, NJ, the son of the late Joseph and Helen (Dzupin) Zeleznok. He was a veteran with the US Army and received his honorable discharge in 1945. Joe worked for over 20 years with Northeast Technical Services before his retirement in 1988. He was a member of the Air National Guard in Westfield and the Air Force Reserve in Westover. During his time in the Air National Guard he went to France for the Berlin crisis in the early Sixties. Joe was known as Mr. Fixit and was always willing to lend a helping hand to his family. Joe leaves his wife of 63 years Violet (Wyczynski) Zeleznok, daughters; Doris Zeleznok and Marie Lilja and her husband Robert. He was predeceased by his brothers; John, Andrew and Richard Zeleznok, sisters; Mary, Helen, Marge and Ann. The Zeleznok family would like to thank Mercy Hospice for their loving care they gave to Joe in his final days. All funeral services for Joe will be privately held at the request of his family.
