INDIAN ORCHARD-Juliette M. Galica,79, of Water Street passed away peacefully on Tuesday morning, January 31, 2023. Juliette was born in Springfield, a daughter of the late Lionel and Edna (Guertin) Talbot. She was raised in the city and attended local schools. Juliette worked for Steiger’s department stores and then JanLynn Corporation before retiring. She enjoyed knitting and crocheting in her spare time. She loved to watch football, especially the Giants, and was a big wrestling fan. Juliette volunteered in her spare time at the Knights of Columbus Council 4044 in Chicopee for many years. Juliette loved games of chance, and trips to the casino were a highlight for her. Her husband, Robert A. Galica, passed away in 1968. Juliette leaves her daughter, Theresa Karam, and her husband David of Chicopee; her longtime companion, Raymond Fields, of Indian Orchard; her siblings, Lawrence Talbot (Kathleen) of Ludlow, Jack Talbot (Paulette) of Colorado, Gerard Talbot of Westfield, and Diane Midwood (William) of Palmer, sister-in-law Sherry Talbot of Colorado; as well as several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by two brothers, Norman and Ernest Talbot.
