June E. Beaudet

CHICOPEE - June Elaine (Richmond) Beaudet, 76, of 350 East Main Street passed away peacefully at Chicopee Gardens on Sunday evening, June 11, 2017. June was born on December 8, 1940 in Rumford, Maine, the daughter of the late Albert and Ramona (Sweatt) Richmond. She was raised and educated in Rumford, attending local schools and graduated from Stephens High School in the class of 1958.  June and Philip were married on May 4, 1963 at St. Theresa Church in Mexico, Maine and enjoyed 47 years of marriage until Philip passed in  2010.   June was an Accounting Clerk for Monarch Life Insurance for 27 years, retiring in 2006.  June and Philip were longtime residents of the Chicopee Falls. She was a devoted communicant of Ste. Rose de Lima church in Aldenville. June was an avid reader and enjoyed long walks. She leaves her daughter, Kristine Allen of Westfield and her son, Mark Beaudet of Chicopee, three grandchildren, Jeannette, Rebecca and Shawn. June also leaves her siblings, James Richmond of Maine, Spencer Sweatt of FLA., Jane McDonald of Maine and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by a sister, Jean Richmond. Burial for June and Philip will be private at the Massachusetts Veterans' Memorial Cemetery in Agawam.  Donations in June and Philip's memory may be made to Ste. Rose de Lima Church, 600 Grattan St., Chicopee, Ma. 01020. The family has entrusted arrangements to the Ratell Funeral Home, Indian Orchard.
