Karen Burroughs

Springfield- Karen (Learned) Burroughs, 67 passed away at home on February 29 2016. Born in Springfield on April 19, 1948, daughter of the late Benjamin and Helen (Slicer) Learned. Karen grew up in the Indian Orchard and lived in West Springfield for many years before moving back to Springfield. Karen leaves behind her loving husband Jon Burroughs; sisters Sandra White of Springfield, Sheila Stanley of Chicopee, Shirley Flebotte of Ludlow, Melody Taylor of Vt., brothers Charles of NC., Richard of Wales, John of Vt., Donald and James Learned of Agawam. Karen was predeceased by sisters Ann Burroughs, Janice Benware, Rosemary Learned, brothers Benjamin, Robert and David Learned. Funeral services for Karen will be held on Thursday March 10, 2016 at 10 am in the Massachusetts Veterans Memorial Cemetery Chapel, 1390 Main St. Agawam, Massachusetts.
