Kenneth N. Drake                                                                                                1938-2010 CHICOPEE- Kenneth "Ken" N. Drake, 71, of Chicopee and formerly of Wilbraham, passed away on Monday, April 19, 2010 at home. He was born in Lincoln, ME on May 22, 1938 a son of the late Earl F. and Wavie E. (Hamilton) Drake. He graduated from Lee Academy and attended Husson University, both in Maine, and received his BA degree from American International College. Kenneth was a U.S. Army veteran, obtaining the rank of Specialist. He retired from Monarch Life Insurance in Springfield. Kenneth was predeceased by his loving wife, Marilyn (Bennett) Drake in 1992. He is survived by his devoted son, Kevin B. Drake and his wife Karen of Simsbury, CT; three cherished grandchildren, Matthew, Connor, and Aidan; two brothers, Roger Drake and his wife Roberta and Francis Drake and his wife Patricia, all of Maine; and many nieces and nephews. Funeral services for Kenneth were private. The Ratell Funeral Home, 200 Main St., Indian Orchard, was entrusted with funeral arrangements.
