Kenneth M. Walsh 1962-2011 FEEDING HILLS- Kenneth "Ken" M. Walsh, 48, a 20 year Feeding Hills resident and formerly of Springfield, entered into eternal rest on Tuesday, June 7th in Mercy Medical Center. He was born in Springfield on August 31, 1962 a son of Ida (Terzi) Walsh-Robinson and the late John Walsh. Ken attended Springfield schools and was a 1981 graduate of Roger L. Putnam Vocational Technical High School. He was employed for 25 years at Salemi's Appliance in Springfield. Ken was a communicant of Sacred Heart Church, Feeding Hills. He is survived by his wife, Annemarie "Amber" C. (Weller) Walsh; his mother, Ida (Terzi) Walsh Robinson and her partner Ed Lemieux of Springfield; three brothers, Raymond Walsh of Springfield, John Walsh of Wilbraham, and Christopher Walsh of Ludlow; three sisters, Ann Marie Carestia and her partner Paul of Springfield, Joy Benoit and her partner Ed Robinson of Springfield, and Rose Barrett-Walsh of South Hadley; and many nieces and nephews. Besides his father, Ken was also predeceased by his step-father, Bus Robinson. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, June 11th beginning at 8:45 a.m. from the Ratell Funeral Home, 200 Main St., Indian Orchard, with a Liturgy of Christian Burial to be celebrated at 10 a.m. in Our Lady of Sacred Heart Church (O.L.S.H), 417 Boston Rd., Springfield, with Rites of Committal to follow in St. Patrick's Cemetery, Fuller Rd., Chicopee. Ken's family will receive relatives and friends at the gathering on Friday, June 10th from 4-8 p.m. at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made in Ken's memory to Sacred Heart Church, 1103 Springfield St., Feeding Hills, MA 01030.
