Laurie Ann Poulin 1963-2008 Laurie Ann (Byrne) Poulin, 45, of Wilbraham, passed away on Tuesday morning, December 2, 2008 with her husband by her side in Baystate Medical Center. Born in Springfield and a resident of Wilbraham for most of her life, she was the daughter of Edward Byrne and the late Jacqueline (McDonald) Byrne. Laurie was a loving wife and mother. Her central focus in life was her family whom she loved and cared for with all her heart. She developed a special bond for animals when she lived in the Houston, Texas area during the early 1980's working for various veterinary clinics. Laurie worked locally for a few years for Attorney Ed Kivari of Wilbraham as a legal secretary. She was a member of the Evangel Assembly of God of Wilbraham and loved her Bible studies. Laurie loved music and was an accomplished pianist. She was self-taught in the violin and the bamboo flute. She leaves to cherish her memory, her loving husband Michael R. Poulin, her father, Edward Byrne of Wilbraham; her loving children, Jeremy M. Poulin and Caitlin M. Poulin both at home; her dear sister, Cindy Miner and her husband William of Westfield and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services for Laurie will be on Saturday, December 6, 2008 in the Evangel Assembly of God, 348 Stony Hill Road, Wilbraham at 9 a.m. Burial will follow in Hillcrest Park Cemetery, Springfield. Calling hours will be held on Friday, December 5, 2008 in the Ratell Funeral Home 200 Main St., Indian Orchard from 4 to 8 p.m. Memorial contributions in Laurie's memory may be made to the Evangel Assembly of God, P.
