Leonard E. Graveline

Leonard E. Graveline 1930-2008   Leonard E. Graveline, 78, of Indian Orchard, passed away in the loving presence of his family on Thursday, November 6, 2008 at home.  Born in Indian Orchard and a life long resident, he was the son of the late Wilfred and Louise (Gauthier) Graveline Houle. Leonard was a retired employee for the Adams & Ruxton Construction Co. of West Springfield and was a communicant of St. Jude Church of Indian Orchard.  He leaves his wife of (23) years, June A. (Bouyea) Graveline; five sons; Anthony and his wife Debbie of Georgia; John and his wife Michelle of New Mexico; Joseph and his wife Lindsey of New Orleans, LA; Thomas of Agawam; Peter and his wife Natasha serving in the USAF in Seoul, South Korea; a daughter; Barbara Jean Graveline and her partner Bonnie Whitehouse of Westfield; a brother; Roland Graveline and his wife Rose of Springfield; four sisters; Ruth Avezzie of Wilbraham; Viola Beaulieu of East Longmeadow; Patricia Hamilton and her husband John of Springfield; Judith Kilcoyne and her husband Austin of Springfield; six grandchildren; one great grandchild and several nieces and nephews.  Funeral services will be Monday, November 10, 2008 from the Ratell Funeral Home 200 Main St., Indian Orchard at 9 a.m., followed by the Liturgy of Christian Burial in St. Jude Church at 10 a.m.  Burial will follow in St. Aloysius Cemetery, Indian Orchard.  Calling hours are on Sunday, November 9, 2008 from 2 to 5 p.m.  In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude's Children's Research  Hospital, Memorial & Honor Program, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105-9956 or to Mercy Hospice 1236 Main St., Holyoke, MA  01040.
