Lila R. Moodie Negron

SPRINGFIELD-Lila Ruth (Moodie) Negron, 68, of Page Boulevard in Springfield passed away on Friday September 14, 2018 at Mercy Hospital after a courageous battle with Lymphoma. Lila was born on May 2, 1950 in Vermont, a daughter of Armor & Angelina (Basile) Moodie. She truly enjoyed working with R.W. Commerford and sons and Doolan Amusements who allowed her to do what she loved, spending time with children and animals. She was predeceased by her husband; William and her brother Joseph. She leaves her son; William and his wife Christy and two beautiful grandchildren; Reme and Sophia who were the light of her life. Her son, Isaiah, who would always stick by her side. She also leaves her constant four legged companion, Nike. Lila is also survived by two sisters, two brothers along with many nieces and nephews. The family invites you to join them for calling hours on Wednesday, Sep. 19, 2018 at the Ratell Funeral Home, 200 Main St., Indian Orchard from 9:00 to 11:00 A.M. Lila's wishes were to be cremated and burial services will be held at a later date.
