Linda A. Goldberg

Linda A. Goldberg 1949-2014 Pompano Beach, FL- Linda A. Goldberg, 65, of Pompano Beach, FL, passed away, Thursday, July 31, 2014 at home. Born in Springfield, MA on January 21, 1949 she was a daughter of Lucille (Barry) Machabee and the late Leo Machabee. Linda worked in the Neurological Center at Baystate Medical Center for over 30 years in which she retired. She was very active and loved dancing, fishing, knitting, crocheting, and the beach.  Linda was a big caretaker, and made sure everyone was taken care of before herself. She was predeceased by her husband, Gary Goldberg, on February 21, 2009. Linda leaves her son David and his wife Shari of Springfield; two daughters, Sima Figueiredo of Springfield, and Rosemarie DeJordy and her husband Daryl of Monson; her twin brother Larry Machabee and his wife Sonia of VA; three sisters, Lois Yates and her husband Michael of FL, Lorraine Eurto and her husband Ray of CT; and Laura Lee of Hawaii; and six grandchildren, Linda, Katie, Gary, Aligia-Rose, Amber Rose, and Nathan David. A private burial will take place at the convenience of the family in the Massachusetts Veterans' Memorial Cemetery, 1390 Main St, Agawam, MA.
