Lorraine B. Bunnell

Lorraine Bunnell 1937-2009   Lorraine (Belanger) Bunnell, 71, of Indian Orchard was peacefully called home on Monday, January 19, 2009. She was the daughter of the late Wilbrod & Yvonne (Asselin) Belanger.  Lorraine was born in Chicopee and lived there most of her life before moving to Indian Orchard.  She worked at John R. Lyman as a factory worker for seven years, as well as at the Comfort Inn, the Fairfield Mall and at Gene's Clean Machines until her retirement.  Lorraine was a loyal supporter of Mothers against Drunk Drivers (MADD).  She was a communicant of St. Patrick Church, Chicopee.  Lorraine was predeceased by her husband, Ronald Bunnell, her son George Rainville and sister Simone Belanger.  She leaves behind her children Jeffrey Belanger, Leonard Rainville and Eugenea Rainville; a brother Raymond Belanger and his wife Dorothy; sisters, Theresa Jasmin and husband John, Pauline Belanger, Deborah Moore and husband Scott; (7) grandchildren; Kevin Belanger and wife Gina, Sarah Belanger and companion Edward Platt, Brian Bechard, Desiree Rainville, Megan Belanger and fiancé Nate Davis, Angela Perkins and husband Ryan, Patrick Rainville; (11) great grandchildren; Meadow Belanger, Ashley Bechard, Autumn Belanger, Justin Landry, Kyle Landry, Brooke Belanger, Morgan Riberio, Hunter Belanger, Savannah Davis, Colton Perkins and Kaleb Platt as well as several nephews, nieces, great nephews, nieces a special great great nephew, Andrew Tomaino, great great niece, Erika Bergeron and special friends Emi Silva, Keri Ann Stevens and special little friend Michael.  Funeral services will be held on Friday, January 23, 2009 from the Ratell Funeral Home 200 Main St. Indian Orchard at 8:45 a.m., followed by the Liturgy of Christian Burial in St. Patrick Church 319 Broadway, Chicopee at 10 a.m.  Burial will follow in Calvary Cemetery, Chicopee.  Calling hours are on Thursday from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. For Guest Book & Directions; ratellfuneralhome.com Ratell Funeral Home (413) 543-3836
