Margaret E Butler

Springfield - Margaret E. Butler, formerly of Springfield, Passed away on July 16, 2016. She was the daughter to the late Andrew and Catherine (Lavin). She was born September 1, 1911 in New Bedford, Massachusetts and lived most of her life in the Springfield area. She worked as a waitress in several area restaurants mostly in the North End of Springfield.  Margaret is survived by her daughter-in-law Anna Butler and her grandson, Andrew Butler both of California, a granddaughter, Debbie Haskell and her husband Edward of Westfield, a nephew Frank Carter of Springfield, a niece Anne Carter of New Hampshire and two great grandchildren and three great great grandchildren, and a lifelong friend, Shirley Harris of West Virginia.   She was predeceased by her son William Butler and her siblings; Charles, Francis and Hellen Carter.
