Margaret E. Wilson 1949-2009 Margaret Ellen Wilson, 60, of Indian Orchard, passed away on Monday, November 16, 2009 in Baystate Medical Center. Born in Ludlow, she was the daughter of Dorothy (Miner) Donahue and the late Herbert D. Wilson. Margaret was a retired expediter for the U. S. Postal Service. She had worked at the Bulk Mail Facility in Indian Orchard. Prior to the postal service she had been employed at the former Chapman Valve Co. Margaret love to have fun and make people laugh. She was a graduate of STCC Clown School, and performed at various events in the area. An avid reader, she volunteered her services of reading to children in the Springfield school system. Margaret loved basketball and was a long time season ticket holder at UMASS. Besides her father she was predeceased by a brother, Kenneth R. Wilson. She leaves to cherish her memory her mother, Dorothy E. (Miner) Donahue of Belchertown, a brother, David R. Wilson and his wife Linda of Springfield, her nephew, Scott D. Wilson of Springfield and several aunts and uncles. A graveside service will be held on Friday, November 20, 2009 in Gate of Heaven Cemetery 421 Tinkham Road, Springfield at 2:15 p.m. There are no calling hours.
